This page provides the mandatory open-source software (OSS) notices, attributions, and licensing information for the third-party dependencies used in the FocusedON-BC Medical Device Software (MDSW) container.
The use of these components is strictly internal to the isolated MDSW Docker container. The presence of these libraries does not impose any copyleft or open-source licensing obligations on the external integrating Host infrastructure or hospital IT ecosystems.
The FocusedON-BC MDSW is distributed as an isolated, headless Docker container built upon a minimal Wolfi OS (Chainguard) environment. The proprietary clinical application logic (developed by ARTIS Tech Development S.L.) and the underlying open-source operating system libraries operate as separate, independent works.
The distribution of both the proprietary software and the OS libraries within a single container image constitutes "mere aggregation" under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL) and the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL). The open-source licenses of the OS components apply strictly to those components themselves and do not extend to, nor do they impose open-source obligations on, the proprietary FocusedON-BC MDSW codebase.
Certain operating system components included in the base container image (such as glibc, readline, libgcc, and gdbm) are governed by the GPL, LGPL, or similar licenses that require the provision of the underlying source code.
For a period of three years after the last distribution of this software version, ARTIS Tech Development S.L. offers to provide to any third party, for a charge no more than the cost of physically performing source distribution, a complete machine-readable copy of the corresponding source code for these GPL/LGPL licensed components.
